During the start of January lockdown 2021, I became a home carer. From personal care to meal preparation I found such a reward in helping the older generation & building a rapport with each client. I take pride in everything I do & treat elderly people as if they are my grand parents - with upmost respect in their own home. I understand the needs of elderly people who may have additional needs such as dementia or health conditions. I hold an AS level in health & social care, aswell as a level 3 childcare qualification so I am fully understanding with how care should be promoted, given and received by the service provider. I hold a paediatric first aid certificate however this may now be outdated - but can retake a first aid course.
