I'm currently a support worker for special needs, but I have plenty of experience which include; supporting adults on a 1:1 basis, supporting adults to be as independent as they can as long as they are safe and happy. Following a person led approach to safeguarding. Promoting independence and empowerment and supporting people to do the things they enjoy on a day to day basis. Supporting adults with dementia who show challenging behaviours including end of life to enable them to be as independent as they can be. Always promoting health and safety, and ensuring the safety of others.
