While I have not worked in a professional capacity as a carer, I have an elderly relative with dementia and have long been deeply involved in their care. I also help an elderly blind person with house tasks on a weekly basis. I have experience working in a primary school and so am not unfamiliar with helping others to clean following an accident. I also pride myself on my patience, I understand that it can be harder for an elderly person to process information and complete tasks.
