I am a 34 year old female with 7 years experience in doing home care. I am a very reliable, honest, compassionate and positive person who takes pride in any task given. Over these years, I have worked with individuals who has autism, paraplegia and dementia, and aided with meal preparation, errands, medication, mobility, companionship, music and physical therapy. Having the knowledge of basic nursing skills has helped me to provide the utmost care, by performing palliative care, bed and wheelchair transfers, preventing and controlling bed sores, infection control, vital signs, and first aid. I understand the importance of having proper code of conduct, time management while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. It gives me great joy being a carer and it is a career that I plan to do now and in the future.
