I work in different residential homes providing assistance to residents in need of personal health care, nutritional needs as well as help with their day to day requirements. I also have learnt how to deal with residents emotional needs especially those suffering from conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer. -Skills needed to carry out role include communication with staff -Understanding residents’ individual requirements Being able to use equipment in the correct way such as standing aid, hoist, sliding sheets to name a few
