I started my career working as support worker in 2004, working for different agencies that provided skilled workers to Care Homes, Domiciliary Care, Live in Care and Healthcare workers in hospital. Ever since, I developed a passion and broadened my skills and knowledge of working with vulnerable adults. That has given me confidence to pursue a career in social work. In 2013 I completed a foundation course in social work and went on to complete BA in Social Work Level 5 at Staffordshire University. During that time, I had chance to work for a Voluntary Organisation that provide support to drug and alcohol patients. In this role, I was able to provide support to individuals, empower them to adjust and manage their health effectively. Also working well with other agencies providing support in best interest of service users. That involved the use of relevant theories to provide better outcomes for families and individuals. Working with vulnerable people has made me understand the knowledge of legislation in practice and I am confident to work within the framework
