I work as a self employed carer, I have worked in the healthcare industry for about 17 years. I have up to date training, NVQ 4 in adult health and social care, insurance and DBS checks. I was previously a manual handling trainer and have good knowledge of manual handling equipment. My previous jobs have included supporting nursing care, residential support, Dementia care, End of life support and Mental health. I have supported adults ranging from ages 18 to 100+. My partner is also a self employed carer/ handyman, with similar experience of care, so when clients need two to assist them we can offer this service. I am happy to assist with personal care, light housekeeping, medications, respite support, companionship and more.
