Hi, I’m Diandra, a community support worker. I have worked in the care industry for over half a decade now and have such a passion for what I do. I have worked for a number of care agencies in the past and felt underappreciated and disheartened. I decided to take matters into my own hands and provide quality care with a difference. ! I am always putting extra into what I do to deliver exceptional service, client satisfaction is the most important thing for me. I have a Care Diploma which includes Nutrition and Hydration, Moving and Handling, Health and Safety, COSHH, safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Medication, Duty of Care, Equality and Diversity, Communication, Person Centred Care, Infection Control, Confidentiality, Dignity. I also have a First Aid Certificate and Full Enhanced DBS check. I have additional training in Brain injury, Challenging behaviour, PEG Feeding, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dementia. Alongside this I have completed an access to nursing Diploma, which has given me additional knowledge and skills to use within community care. I also have attended University studying Law, I quickly realised this was not where my passion lay. I’m a warm and compassionate person, suited to a much more caring role.
