I worked as a care assistant to the elderly for over 10 years, providing clients with day to day care; From washing and getting them dressed to cleaning, food preparation, managing medication, shopping, sit ins and over night stays. I am very flexible and happy to work long hours and do over night stays if necessary. I do not have my own transportation so would prefer to work within Lewisham/Bromley Borough. I am very enthusiastic and enjoy my role as a caregiver, over the years I have worked out in the Feild providing care to the elderly within my community as well as providing support care within various nursing homes. I have a level 2 NVQ in care and studied courses in dementia, moving & handling, first aid and health & safety. I am now looking for the opportunity in a role to provide care for one sole client on a long term basis.
