Offering support enabling you to keep doing the things you love, have you been discharged from hospital & need that bit of help whilst getting back on your feet or are you a family member looking for support for a loved one. I find caring and enabling others a very rewarding career and have been offering this service for nearly 30 years. For the last 3 years I have been working self employed, prior to that I spent 8 years on the wards in a private hospital, working alongside the registered nurses where I studied to become an assistant practitioner. My experience has taught me how to recognise signs of deterioration, safe moving & handling along with many other skills. I have experience & knowledge in supporting the elderly, persons with dementia and people with learning difficulties. I am happy to assist with any duties including personal care, housekeeping, shopping, companionship, anything that enables someone to maintain their independence . Foundation degree in Health & Social care level 5, certificate in foot care. References, DBS, qualifications and certificates of training received, available on request.
