I have cared for an elderly gent for 18 months, up until he passed away and enjoyed my time with him. My job was to provide good old fashioned meals for him and iron and clean, shopping, water plants, feed the birds, all the things he would have done when he was able. We also spent many hours reminiscing about his life and chatting about his day.
