I have worked as a carer in a residential care home for service users with all degrees of dementia, I have given personal care to both male and female service users and have fed them, of course appreciating their privacy and dignity. I have also worked in day centres for service users with all degrees of dementia, assisting them with various activities. I have also helped my late grandparents, who had dementia, with personal care and feeding.
