NVQ Level 2/3 qualified in Health and Social Care.19 years experience gained from working within the health and social care sector.Accustomed to delivering a high and consistent level of service responsive to the needs of vulnerable individuals,demonstrating a caring and friendly approach in assisting them with their everyday needs.I did domiciliary care for many years,worked in nursing/residential homes with elderly who have a range of disabilities including dementia.I have worked in rehab hospitals,Mental health challenging behaviour/self harm. At the moment i work just 2 days a week in Wiltshire doing live in care.I look after a 23 year old with Autism and has challenging behaviour. It's not an easy job to do, you have to be mentally and psychologically fit to do this along with having excellent communication skills, being trustworthy and honest patient with excellent care knowledge,I have done voluntary work on a dementia ward, and worked at a homeless shelter as a supervisor too. I love the work i do and get great satisfaction out of helping others. I have a good sense of humour as you need to in this job but work and stay professionally.I enjoy being able to help others and to be able to help them reach there aim in life.
