I am a current international student from Australia studying at the University. For the past few years previous I have been looking after my elderly father with dementia and also my ill mother. I have worked in community service settings with the culturally and linguistically diverse, the aged, people with disabilities ( including learning support in schools). I have worked with young people from the age 5-18 years. I have a love of art, creativity, culture, folklore, history, ancestry.and many other interesting topics. I love people and helping others and love great conversations. I feel that being a carer is of great importance and there needs to be more people in these roles.
