I currently work in a care home. I've been a cleaner which I liked but what I preferred most was when I became hostess as this gave me the opportunity to socialise a lot more with the residents. Basically I take food and beverages order serve up the meals however I find myself drawn to the conversation and social side of the job and often join in with the well being activities for the residents.
