I’m Connor and I would consider myself a very caring, supportive, reliable and person centred individual currently serving as a soldier in the British army which I have been for the last 9 years since the age of 16. Therefore I have no care experience but however I believe that the skills, values and experiences gained in the army can be very transferable to a care role for the elderly. Also due to my career first aid (if needed) would not be a problem as very current and competent in all aspects of basic first aid bls, Dressing of wounds, etc. All this being said, due to being in the military and the ongoing impact of covid-19 I have been at home for a very considerable amount of time and feel that my time would be better invested elsewhere, and would consider this opportunity very rewarding and humbling. Please read this carefully as being in the army my services will be very limited but during Covid-19 I will be available to help whenever needed.
