Hello having grown up looking after older members of my family. After having my own children. I moved to the isle of white. I always wanted to help out in any possible way making sure the older generation had the best life possible. I worked for some care agencys. But found the care rushed and not very caring. I then met a gentleman that had lost his wife and was diagnosed with dementia and heart failure. So then lost his driving licence. I offered to take him out 6 hours a week . Just to make his life more bearable as he was still young at heart. We would visit the shops if needed we went on theatre nights out and found every lovely cake/coffee shop the isle of wight had to offer. We worked together for 2 years. Then sadly i moved to basingstoke with my partners job. Even with his dementia we still talk weekly over the phone. I enjoy house work and meeting people from all walks of life. Im fine with personal care. Shoping trips, days out or in. Im not the best cook. But im willing to try anything if it gives comfort to someone
