I have been work in care for a number of years now, after spending many years working in an office. I have never regretted the decision to change careers as I find my job so rewarding. I work as an independent carer now and have a number of private clients; however one of my long standing clients has gone into residential care, which is the reason I have a vacancy for a new client. My client criteria varies from needing assistance with shopping etc. to full personal care, using a hoist, for a 97 year old lady who is bed ridden. I also have experience of dementia and Parkinsons. My ethos is to make my clients feel that they are respected and cared for, and for me to have empathy and understanding for their needs.
