I enjoy working with people and helping them live life to the fullest. I recognise that I am working in someone else’s home and always try to be respectful of their space and their routines. It is my job to fit into other peoples life, not the other way around. I have worked with long-term clients who have a range of physical and mental health issues that include; Mobility issues, Aspergers, Cerebral Palsy, Depression, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, Cancer, Severe Dyslexia. My duties have been varied but ultimately, I have helped people to live as independently as possible. The duties are varied day today, but often include; helping with cooking, cleaning, dressing, laundry, light gardening, shopping, personal-care and administration. Equally as important as experience, I have been told that I am a nice person to have around. I try to find common ground with everyone and aim to be with hard-working and relaxed at the same time.
