I started out as a Carer helping my mother look after my two elderly grand parents who were nursed at home. I discovered how rewarding it could be. With this in mind I decided it was time for a change of Career. I stared off with an agency and did the relevant training which included gaining qualifications. I then decided to go privately employed as more flexible and fitted around my young family at the time. They have now grown and I have much more time on my hands. I have great patience, understanding and kindness which is very important in trying circumstances. In the past 6 years I’ve looked after an elderly lady who is going through varying stages of dementia. I’m very reliable and flexible, also available at short notice and believe continuity of care is essential.
