My name is Carmen. I’m Romanian and I am 35 years old. I cared for the elderly in Italy few years ago. I took care of an elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer`s disease for 2 years (nights and afternoons). I helped this lady with personal care including showering, toileting, grooming, dressing etc., cooking, cleaning, laundry including ironing, shopping. I want to encourage and support the person to do as much as possible for herself in all aspects of daily living, which will include personal care. I speak English but not fluently. I would like to take care of a elderly woman with whom I could communicate so that I perfecting my English. I am an honest, well educated, self motivated, kind, flexible, serious, non-smoker, tidy, punctual person.
