I am a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and organisational skills. I hold a degree in dance and a level 3 in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning. I have undertaken various employments which has assisted my skills and experiences. I have 8 years experience of working with child and adults with mild to severe learning and physical needs. I have been involved with the teaching of pupils aged 4-18 years, in a classroom environment. A main part of my role was to help pupils with learning difficulties on a one-to-one basis to learn and understand their work. Working closely with Key stages 1 and 2 of National Curriculum gaining much knowledge to progress within this career. I have also gained further: • understanding of how children develop and learn • flexibility and creativity • ability to managed groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour. I am trained in Team Teach, use Makaton when needed and have work with EAL pupils. I believe I am friendly, patient, kind, understanding and helpful. I am passionate about the work I do and get a great sense of achievement. I believe the qualities are easily transferable to all aspects of my work life.
