I have worked in care homes for more than 10 years, and experience with elderly for over 20 years. I am confident in supporting individuals with Elderly Care, Companionship, Housekeeping, Mobility Support, dementia Care. Providing all aspects of personal care: washing and dressing, housekeeping, cooking, companionship, etc. Have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and Enhanced DBS which is also part of the update service My personal statement: I grew up with my blind grandma, I had to help with her feeding, washing, toileting, etc. When I was 15 years old sadly she passed away and then I had to look after my younger brothers and sisters while my mum was at work as a nurse at the hospital. When I was 17 years old I started working for myself by doing home help for elderly people and at the same time I was baby sitting for a family member for 2 years. After that I became a carer in “The Haven Care Home” and at the same time was looking after my cousin who was mentally disabled. My passion always was to look after vulnerable and elderly people
