I have over 10 years experience working in all aspects of care. I started working in mental health and learning disability units. I then spent 3 years working in elderly care homes. Most recently I have been working in a neurological service attending to people with dementia and Huntington disease. I have been training other staff in safe moving and handling of people and also train staff in conflict resolution. I am physically very robust but have a big soft heart. I keep very active, playing alot of sport. I am also trained in stoma care, (both colostomy and ileostomy), and basic peg care.
