Hello, my name is Anne and I am from Loudwater, Bucks. For the past five years I have worked as a community care worker. I was first employed by a care company, and then became self-employed, though still doing work for a care company. During this time I have proven my ability to work with an interdisciplinary team, utilised my interpersonal skills by developing strong professional relationships with clients, including individuals and families. Having worked for both care companies and private clients, I am fully aware of the needs of the individual and the importance of team work. My strong verbal and written communication skills have been well utilised in these roles and I have also demonstrated solid organisational skills in my case management. I entered into a career as a care worker as I have a strong desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives by offering practical and emotional support. I have extensive experience with elderly people and people with learning disabilities and mental illnesses.
