I work in different homes including some short term assignments and a 2 and a half years with a couple that were 85 and 94 years of age. I also work in care home of disables and one to one with mental health. I helped with personal care, dressing and recorded medication. I am a good companion to them. I cooked, performed light housework duties, shopped and escorted them to the shops, hairdresser and doctor's appointments. We go out on social occasions and family events. I enjoyed looking after their everyday needs, conversation and life experiences. I really feel that the possibility of remaining in one's own home has many benefits (psychological, physical and emotional). I believe in the protection of one's dignity and privacy and try to make each day an enjoyable one to the best of my ability. Am trained for all types of leaning disability with special needs and challenging behaviour interest shere my training also in elderly people. Hobbies & Interests: I enjoy walking, cooking, theatre, TV and films, reading and watching all sports and films. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy lively conversation and dedicate myself to my job and the people involved with it.
