I have 6 years experience caring for the elderly in a care home environment and 1 years experience as an NHS bladder and bowel care specialist health care assistant. I take a calm and mature approach to my work, and am focussed on constantly delivering the best care possible. I really enjoy what I do and feel satisfied when care has been given in a dignified way, meeting the needs and preferences of the service user. I enjoy learning from others and developing my skills and knowledge. I studied health and social care level 2 at secondary school and level 3 at college. I have done training in first aid, DOLs/ mental capacity, dementia care, mental health awareness, and end of life care.
