I am a 60 year old athletic and funny woman. I have battled cancer and won. I love the elderly. I love all of their stories, different personalities, and can also understand they're frustration and they're loneliness. I feel that the outdoors is an important part with keeping their depression at a minimum. I took care of my mother who had Alzheimer's for years. All the way to the point where she did not know who I was nor the rest of her children. I enjoyed making her feel pretty with manicures and pedicures and even coloring her hair. I worked as a surgical assistant and retired because the surgeon I worked with retired. I am also experienced in wound care. I also like to care for pets. I have 8 years in the veterinary field, as well as 2 years in the emergency clinic. Pets add a lot to our longevity and wellness. I have taken care of pets forever. Anyone who needs assistance with walking or carrying or medications and even overnight stays, I have done for a very long time.
