I first wanted to work in care as my brother was in an accident when I was 10 years old, he had carers coming in to support him with his daily needs. I saw how much this helped his development and helped him complete day to day tasks that most people would consider something simple. This made me want to help people when they most need it the way he received the help he needed. I thought it was an amazing thing to do for people and I been working in care since I was 18, now 24 I still have the same view on the job and love the satisfaction you feel at the end of each day knowing how much you have helped someone complete day to day tasks and living their life to the full potential. I am a very trustworthy and reliable carer, I have a lot to give and enjoy the company and working with the elderly. I can assist with meal prep and ensuring a balanced diet, this is along with day to day personal hygiene and well being for improved quality of life and increased level of dignity.
