My name is Alison and I'm 50 years old. I have been caring for both my elderly parents for the last 3 years. They both have different types of dementia as well as some physical health limitations they need assistance with. My daily role is to assist with bathing and dressing when required, managing medication, cooking healthy meals, light cleaning, organising appointments and of course providing stimulating activities such as gardening, jigsaw puzzles, card games, very basic keep fit and of course lots of conversation! I have been triple vaccinated and I am very careful as I am surrounded by clinically vulnerable people daily.
