I am very interested in a position in working with elderly service users. I have experience working with elderly adults with learning disabilities and dementia/Alzheimer's. I have practiced therapeutic support and care, through art, trips out and nostalgia based activities. On a personal level, I have experience caring for two grandparents, one with limited mobility and one with Alzheimer's. I am comfortable with personal care, preparing meals, cleaning and any other household duties. My experience in working in a day service has allowed for me to learn different care values. I have references to this effect if interested. I have a DBS and my own car and I am willing to travel for work. I am very flexible with my time.
