I spent a day in the care home setting with a youth center at 15/16 years old. Helping and talking to elderly residents doing fun activities. I’ve always loved helping people and work in a healthcare setting. I’m doing online studying to gain more knowledge and hoping I can be trained up to gain more long term experience. I used to look after my elderly neighbor with learning disabilities and dementia before she went into a nursing home. I helped her with cleaning, comforting her and many more. I don’t have much experience as I’m only 19 and previously worked in childcare.
