In 2016 I volunteered at a care home in Chelsea in which with other volunteers played music to entertain the staff and those who lived there. I also after performing, went to talk with the elderly about whatever they wanted to, so they would feel less lonely. Helped prepare their afternoon tea and cleared up for them. In September 2018 until February 2019 I worked in a hospital in Japan. For 2 to 3 days a week I volunteered in the rehabilitation ward. In this ward was mainly patients in the 50s onwards. I helped prepare food and medications for the patients. Helped clean their rooms and with their bathes. Assisted the patients to the toilets when they needed to and motivated them with their rehabilitation. Also I spoke to patients mainly in japanese to help them overcome their loneliness and reduce their stress.
