I have been lucky to be a part of a large family, therefore, have always been surrounded by children and have been a carer from a young age. I have also had experience being a child minder for 3 years. I realise that I'm a lot younger than most carers, but this allows me to engage and be more active with children creating activities and understanding them, creating a balance between fun and strict. My approach with children is to have mutual respect. Having the experience that I have had, has enabled me to develop certain skills when coming to babysitting, patience, responsibility and dependability being the key factors.
