Hello parents, my name is Victoria and I am an 18 year old school leavers student who enjoys looking after children of any age and who has experience of this. As a young carer, I understand the interests of children and I am very sociable with them. My sister has a 2 year old daughter whom I’ve literally been a second mother to and watched grow up. I’ve also studied childcare for two years and enjoyed this education as it has fascinated me how unique every single child can be. What’s most important to me when looking after children is paying attention to their talents and interests so that they can embrace this, and helping them to be as confident as they can be to prepare themselves for the future.
