Hello, I have recently moved over to the United Kingdom from Australia. I have had lots of experience with kids and I am looking for a future in either teaching or social work which I will pursue in the coming years. I have been working with children since the age of 15 where I started volunteering for an organization by the name of Edmund Rice camps. This role required me to be one on one with a child who wouldn’t otherwise get that opportunity. In 2019 I went to America and worked in summer camp by the name of YMCA camp for 3 months working with children aged 4-13.This role required me along with a co worker to be the kids soul career for the week they were at camp. This included getting them ready for the day, taking them to/running activities for them, taking them to meal times, bed time and much more. In August 2019 to august 2020 I was an Au Pair for a family in Germany. This position required me to get the two 4 year old twins ready for kindergarten, pick them up from kindergarten, spend the afternoon with them and obviously weekends as well as I was a live in Nanny. I have an Australian police check, I have done my safe guarding training and I am waiting back for my DBS check to come through.
