I have previously worked as a Nursery nurse and a child minder assistant. I use the EYFS curriculum to support children as individuals which helps in balancing their overall skills. I help in supporting children and I help them to develop as individual so they can fulfil their potential. It is my duty of care as an early years practitioner to safeguard and empower children i come in contact with. In doing this i build rapport, show respect, encourage children and make sure their voice is heard. I am an advocate for children learning through play and I continue to develop my skills in this area as well as being a reflective practitioner so that children can achieve and thrive.
