I am originally from Gibraltar and moved to the United Kingdom in 2014. The reasons for this is because from a very young age I have always wanted to be part of helping others around me and making social changes for all those who may need aided guidance. In addition, I have a lot of experiences working with young children and families as I have had the opportunity to work in nurseries and schools on several occasions for over 10 years, where I have taken children practitioner roles and supervisor roles such as room leading and nursery manager roles and now currently a full time Nanny and also work in after school care club as a manager. I decided to develop my career opportunities and I did a Foundation Degree and Ba Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies, whilst working full time as a Nursery Pre school Room Leader and Deputy Manager, which lead my interests to Equality and Diversity aspects in education and this then inspired my dissertation topic being in relation to this. I have completed most PDP training courses such as First Aid qualifications, Safeguarding, Designated Safeguarding Lead, SENCO, Food Hygiene, Level 2 ICT, Level 3 Pre-School Mentor and more.
