I am a 19-year-old female with extensive experience caring for children of various ages and hold a qualification in child development. Growing up, I played a key role in looking after my two younger siblings (both under 10) from birth, as my parents worked full-time. This taught me how to meet children’s daily needs, including feeding, entertaining, and creating a safe and loving environment. Professionally, I have worked in a primary school, mainly supporting Reception and Year 5 classes. In this role, I assisted with children’s learning, development, and social skills. Additionally, I have experience with children aged between 3 months and 14 years, tailoring my approach to suit their individual needs. I am a confident cook, capable of preparing nutritious meals for children, and my previous roles as a housekeeper and support worker have reinforced my multitasking, and problem-solving skills. I live in Birmingham and, although I can’t drive at the moment, I have no issues traveling to and from using public transportation or taxis. I am passionate about working with children and pride myself on being patient, reliable, and caring. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
