Hi families! My name is Tessa, and I am moving to St Andrews in September from the United States with my soon-to-be husband who will be pursuing his graduate degree at the university! I very recently earned my own master's degree in Speech Pathology, as well as a teaching certification. However, due to licensing differences, I likely will not practice as a speech therapist while we are in Scotland! While we are here, I would love to continue to work with children as I have for the last 10+ years as a babysitter and nanny. In that time, I have worked with 20+ families, most until their children outgrew a babysitter. I strive to hold the welfare of the children to whose care I am entrusted paramount, and will love your children as if they are my own. I have vast experience with all age ranges, as well as a wide range of special needs. I am a huge proponent of fostering learning and creativity through play, and also love to engage children through crafts, baking, and exploring nature.
