Up until November 21 I have been a foster carer for over 10 years, I have looked after children from 15 months to 18 years, I have fostered a young lad from the age of 9, he is now 18 yrs and is staying put until 21. I have done lots of training, eg therapeutic care, safe guarding, some understanding of autism. and I’ve also got a paediatric first aid certificate. I have decided to stop full time fostering but still have lots to give other children. And support to families.
