I have worked in a preschool, and developed skills like how to potty train kids, and learning about how to enhance their fine motor skills, as well as muscle development by climbing, crawling, dancing etc. I assisted with snack time and teaching children to listen to their bodies, and the importance of hygiene. I helped resolve conflicts, and how to make each child feel validated and understood. I am a believer in children being equal to adults, and will never dismiss their opinions. It’s so important to allow them to validated, as this builds a strong foundation for good self esteem. I help children to learn about dealing with their own emotions in healthy ways, while role modeling this myself, as children learn through imitation. I have experience babysitting, and have made food, cleaned, played (as course!) with the children, read stories, played dress up and so many other things. I think I enjoy playing even more than the child does! I am in touch with my inner child and can be silly really engage with child. I am responsible and believe in the child’s safety above anything else, including my own. I am an open and honest person, and believe in healthy communication between me and the parents, as well as the child.
