My name is Tara and I have experience working with children aged 4-12. My first job was as a nanny for two boys aged 7 and 8, which was for a year before I went to university. Since 2020, I have been a nanny for children aged 4 to 12. These were always part time roles, usually after school. I would typically pick them up from school, take them home and cook for them. Then we would do any homework that needed completing, make sure they were washed and put to bed (depending on how late I would stay). I also did activities with the children such as taking them to the park, swimming lessons or general play.
