Hello! My name is Sycamore and I recently moved from the US to London to pursue my MSc in Food Policy at City University London. I am passionate about children, and I have around 8 years of childcare experience. My first job was as a lifeguard at a day camp. I taught swimming to children aged 3-5. When I was working on my undergrad degree, I nannied for two boys who were less than a year old when I started and turned two when I left. After getting my undergraduate degree, I moved from Boston, Massachusetts to Fayetteville, Arkansas to learn about sustainable agriculture. I babysat two girls aged 8 and 12 - i drove them to their activities and helped them with homework after school. At the same time, I babysat a 3 month old little girl who I took care of throughout the day while her mom was at work. I'm excited to learn more about the ways in which children's education and food intersect, and I'm looking forward to connecting with wonderful families! My classes are over, and I am working on my dissertation until September. However I do have availabilities Tuesday through Friday, and Saturday nights.
