I'm a BTEC Qualified Nursery Nurse passing at Distinction level. I provided childcare for children aged 0-8 years with experience in the foundation stage of learning as a play leader, crèche worker, nursery nurse, carer and nanny also as a mother of five and a grandmother of three, working in such settings as preschools, nurseries, schools, private houses. I have been involved in all aspects of early education such as curriculum planning, implementing, recording, assessing, writing individual learning plans, identifying children with special needs and dealing with outside agencies (JCAT). Working as a special education needs coordinator within the centre, I have received additional training and also involved in setting up of the before and after school clubs. I have enjoyed working with children, preparing suitable age related activities to aid their personal development, watching and recording these developmental areas whilst in my care. More recently, I have been working as a nanny looking after twins in a home environment. I enjoy assisting children in their development and provide a happy, safe and caring environment for children to thrive.
