I am currently looking for some part time or full time work to help me gain new skills and experience in different sectors to help my confidence grow. I have 2 years experience in retail from working as a shop assistant and over 5 years childcare experience as well as two childcare qualifications, a first aid certificate and a full recent disclosure. I have worked in a variety of childcare environments from nurseries, early years crèches to after school clubs. Even though most of my experience is childcare based I have gained many skills that are transferable including excellent communication skills, dealing with customers and providing the best service possible for everyone, being able to work positively in a team or alone and excellent ict skills. I have also been volunteering for girlguiding scotland on and off since 2010 and in October last year began to work towards my adult leader qualification (hopefully, I will complete it by September) and working towards my archery qualification to become a fully qualified archery instructor for girlguiding. Through volunteering with girlguiding, I have gained and improved on various valuable skills such as teamwork and leadership, organisational and budgeting skills.
