Primary school teacher and professional nanny. Originally from Switzerland (German-speaking) based in the UK since 2016. Having worked as both a primary school teacher and nanny for the last - combined - 10 years, I have extensive knowledge of early childhood development and experience of caring for children between the ages of 12-months to 10 years. I enjoy most getting to bond with the children I look after and seeing them grow and develop, take great inspiration from the pedagogy of Maria Montessori and love encouraging my charges in all aspects of their personal development - i.e. following their personal interests, introducing them to new activities, music, places and social interaction with other children. Warmth, patience and curiousity - these are the attributes that enable me to experience the world through my charges' eyes and see each child in their own unique personality. As a music lover and bookworm I also enjoy exposing my charges to various different music styles, lots of singing and stories!
