I have been a babysitter for around 8 years now, working with local families with children ranging from 4 to 16 years old. I am able to pick children up from school and take them to activities (I own a car and have held a valid clean driving license since 2015), I am confident in the kitchen and can prepare meals and snacks. During my studies at Stirling University (graduating in June 2019 with a BA in Film and Media and Sports Studies) I have spent time working with children within an education setting as a classroom assistant at Dunblane Primary. I started my PGDE in Primary teaching at Glasgow University in August 2019 and am on track to qualify in June 2020. I am able to help children with homework (all areas of the Curriculum For Excellence). I have worked with children in sporting environments, including hockey and tennis coaching. In the summer of 2016, I spent my time in Maine at Camp Vega looking after eight 13 year old girls in my bunk and teaching lots of girls ages 4-16 tennis duding the day.
