I have worked in child care for many years, my first job being in a residential care home for disabled/special needs children and young adults and it has given me a real sense of achievement and reward. I believe that I make a good child carer because I am patient yet firm, kind, caring and assertive but also realise when and how to give the appropriate discipline depending on the situation. And I am a hard worker and will carry out any task given to me to the best of my best ability.
