I began my career in childcare when I carried out a 2-week work experience before leaving secondary school, working with reception aged children from 4-5 years old. I then studied childcare at college for a year. I have worked in several nurseries, a school, and for 4 families, one being a nanny share. I’ve worked with children from 0-8 years old. I’ve had up to 3 children in one family, I also have a good amount of experience working with SEN children. I am a highly organised and honest individual who loves to cook, bake, and sing, while making the environment I work in as nurturing, stimulating, fun and educational as it can be. I love planning fun activities and finding different ways to achieve the best development for the children in my care. I’m caring, trusting and passionate. I’m adaptable to new situations, outgoing and enjoy meeting new people including other parents and nannies. I am a dedicated, thorough and professional individual when it comes to work, and I always focus on producing the best results. I feel confident when working under my own initiative as well as in partnership with others, I’m a great listener and a clear communicator whether I’m engaging with children, colleagues, employers, family or friends.
